Platinum Equity Signs Agreement To Acquire Game Taco

Platinum Equity recently announced it signed an agreement to acquire the mobile gaming platform Game Taco. As part of this deal, Game Taco will also acquire WorldWinner, a pioneer skill-based title developed by GSN Games.

The two companies will now be merged into one to create a premium skills competition platform. Media executive David Nathanson will serve as a minority co-investor and as Executive Chairman of the combined businesses while Game Taco founder Joshua Barrow will be the organization’s CEO.

“This investment brings together two complementary businesses under a powerful leadership team with an exciting vision for growth,” said Platinum Equity Partner Jacob Kotzubei. “Platinum’s carve-out experience and operational expertise will help ensure a seamless transition and integration, maximizing the talents and technology of both companies.”

The financial details of this deal have not been disclosed at this time.
