Freaks 4U Gaming recently announced the strategic acquisition of ProGaming Italia from the Swiss esports organization Game.Fin. The acquisition was for an undisclosed amount of money.
As part of this deal, Freaks 4U Gaming acquired all shares of ProGaming Italia that were held by Game.Fin. In return, Game.Fin acquired stock in Freaks 4U Gaming and has now become a minority shareholder in the company.
According to The Esports Observer, ProGaming Italia will be operated as a joint venture with Freaks 4U. “Amongst both CEOs and all shareholders of Freaks 4U Gaming and ProGaming Italia, the intention has always been to forge a strategic alliance as equals,” a spokesperson told the gaming publication.
Freaks 4U Gaming is an esports marketing agency based in Germany. The organization has over 190 employees working in Europe, the United States, and Asia.
