Facebook recently announced it was partnering with Ubisoft to strengthen its cloud gaming offerings. As a result, Facebook said it will expand its cloud gaming service to 98% of people in the continental United States. Furthermore, Ubisoft will be bringing several new forms of gaming content to the platform.
For now, it is being reported that only mobile Ubisoft games will be available on Facebook. Some of the titles that can be played through the company’s cloud gaming service include Assassin’s Creed Rebellion, Hungry Shark Evolution, and Hungry Dragon.
Last fall, Facebook unveiled a preview of its cloud gaming service. The organization said it plans on expanding its offering to 100% of people in the United States this coming fall.
Once the rollout of the cloud gaming program is completed in the United States, the company said it will expand this offering to international audiences. Facebook’s cloud gaming services are expected to be available in Canada, Mexico, and parts of Europe by 2022.
