Talon Esports recently unveiled a partnership with the blockchain-based decentralized finance ecosystem Yieldly. As a result of this deal, Yieldly will serve as the official blockchain partner for Talon’s Arena of Valor team.
“Fan engagement is critical for us. Working with Yieldly will allow us to be at the bleeding edge of fan engagement and the future of gaming. The first step is to introduce DeFi [decentralized finance] products to our fans and community for them to better understand the space and how it operates. Over time we want to have more in-depth conversations around blockchain technologies across different products within that ecosystem,” said Sean Zhang, the CEO of Talon Esports, in a press release. “Today, we are seeing products and solutions that are only scratching the surface of what is possible. With Yieldly, we have a DeFi ecosystem solution which provides a simple and seamless on-ramp for our gaming community.”
Talon Esports has plans to create content that educates fans on Yieldly’s finance ecosystem. According to a press release, activations designed around Yieldly’s products and offerings will be held throughout Southeast Asia.
Talon Esports is a Hong Kong-based gaming organization that was founded in 2017. They have teams competing in popular games like Arena of Valor, League of Legends, and Overwatch.
