Turtle Beach Announces Partnerships, Unveils New Gaming Accessories

On June 8th, Turtle Beach announced it had renewed and extended its new partnership with the Call of Duty Challenger team, Team WaR. This new, multi-year partnership extends the relationship between the two companies past 2021. As a result, Team WaR will continue using Turtle Beach’s Elite Pro 2 gaming headsets as well as Recon 500 multiplatform gaming headsets.

Just two days later, Turtle Beach unveiled a new partnership with Wizards District Gaming (WDG) of the NBA 2K League. As part of the deal, Turtle Beach also plans on supplying WDG with Elite Pro 2 gaming headsets.

“Wizards District Gaming is a clear powerhouse in the competitive NBA 2K League, and we are honored to be partnering with a team as talented as they are,” said Ryan Dell, the SVP of Global Marketing at Turtle Beach. “We craft our gear to a level of precision and performance so that champions remain champions, and we look forward to WDG continuing to win more games in our Elite Pro 2 headsets.”

On June 14th, Turtle Beach revealed the company was developing two groundbreaking products: the Xbox Recon Controller and the VelocityOne Flight simulation control system. This represents Turtle Beach’s entrance into the rapidly-growing gaming controller and gaming simulator markets.
