The Indian company Pratilipi recently announced it raised $48 million in a recent financing round that was led by Krafton. There was also participation from the Omidyar Network India, company CEO Ranjeet Pratap Singh, Hemesh Singh, Gaurav Munjal, Nishith Rastogi, Vidit Aatrey, Mekin Maheshwari, and Amit Agarwal.
Krafton led this Series D round of fundraising. To date, the company has secured $78.8 million through investment rounds.
“Over the last 12-18 months, we have seen a lot of progress, expanding into some new formats as well as finding newer ways for our creators to be successful,” said Pratlipi co-founder Ranjeet Pratap Singh. “We are both pleased and privileged to partner with Krafton, who shares our love for great stories and intellectual property.”
Pratilipi is a Banglore-based start-up company that was founded in 2014. The organization has developed an online storytelling platform that allows writers to share their works in many ways.
