Vindex Opening First Belong Gaming Arena In Houston, Later Acquires Business From Game Digital

Esports company Vindex recently announced plans to open a Belong Gaming Arenas location in Houston, Texas. This comes as part of the organization’s plan to expand its chain of local esports centers as the COVID-19 Pandemic gets under control.

“We can’t open fast enough, honestly, based on the consumer and industry demand,” said Vindex CEO Mike Sepso in an interview with GamesBeat. “We’re still doing it very safely. And we’ve been monitoring timing. In our locations in the U.K. are reopening daily.”

Following this news, it was revealed that Vindex had acquired the Belong Gaming Arenas brand as well as associated IPs from Game Digital Limited. Vindex will lead Belong Gaming operations in the United States. Furthermore, Vindex said it plans on investing over $300 million in the company over the next five years to open 1,500 more Belong locations globally.

Vindex is one of the leading global esports infrastructure companies. The organization was first founded in 2019.
