Vertagear Unveils New Swarovski Crystal Gaming Chair

On July 13th, Vertagear officially announced the launch of a collaboration with the accessories brand Crystals from Swarovski. As a result, the two organizations have worked together to create the PL4500 Crystals from Swarovski gaming chair.

“This collaboration has all of the award-winning features that come along with the PL4500 racing series chair like Vertagear’s Patented HygennX coffee fiber technology, and our upgradable RGB kits,” it reads on the Vertagear website. “All while adding the beautiful craftsmanship well known by Crystals from Swarovski. The PL4500 comes embellished in Crystals from Swarovski in a luxurious diamond shape pattern embroidered on the chair that gives it an elegant look, yet still giving you the same comfort and support you can expect from owning a PL4500 gaming chair.”

The gaming chair was made available for purchase on July 29th. The product has a starting price of $599.99.

The Profit‘s Take:

This one is just silly, but we have to talk about it because there is now an arms race in the gaming chair market. First BMW, then Cooler Master, and now Swarovski. There isn’t much to this other than the fact that there are a lot of companies trying to make a name for themselves in the luxury gaming chair market. I’m not convinced sitting on Swarovski crystals will enhance my performance though.
