The Dominican Esports Federation recently announced a cooperation agreement with the Dominican Basketball Federation. This deal will see the organizations work together to promote basketball in the esports industry.
As a result of this partnership, these entities will help expand basketball’s reach in D.R. by hosting events centered around the hit NBA 2K series. This deal also aims to grow the Dominican Republic’s basketball brand both nationally and internationally.
The Dominican Esports Federation was officially created two years ago. The organization hosted its first esports event on September 11th of 2019.
