Esports Players Welfare Association Launched In India

The Esports Players Welfare Association (EPWA) was recently launched in India. This organization aims to support esports pros and amateurs with legal advice, career help, and contract negotiation assistance.

“With the exponential increase in the number of esports players (amateur and professional) and avenues for them to earn a living, EPWA will strive to ensure their rights are protected by defining industry norms, setting regulations, and assisting relevant stakeholders to form policies,” said Ritesh Nath, the founder of the EPWA.

The EPWA is a members-only non-profit organization. Players can choose to become a part of the entity for free, or they can pay an annual membership to receive more exclusive services.
