Nintendo officially lowered the price of the Switch console in Europe. According to Dot Esports, there is a chance the price will be dropped even lower at some point in the near future.
Based on current listings, the Nintendo Switch costs roughly $316 in Europe and about $355 in the United Kingdom. This represents a significant price drop since the device originally cost $386.64 and $383.16 respectively.
Additionally, Nintendo announced it would be bringing Game Boy games, Game Boy Color games, and Nintendo 64 games to the Nintendo Switch’s online service. The company also revealed that Sega Genesis titles will be added to the service in late October.
Many popular titles are expected to be playable through the service. This will reportedly include Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and so on.
