According to Outlook Magazine, Atari is planning on launching the company’s first hotel for gamers next year. Reports indicate the hotel will begin operations in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2022.
The neon-accented building, which was made to look like Atari’s A-shaped logo, was designed by the Gensler global architecture firm. The structure is expected to have 500 rooms.
“According to the company, the hotels will offer ‘fully immersive experiences for every age and gaming ability’, where guests will be able to enjoy the latest in virtual and augmented reality,” reads the September 18th article by Outlook Magazine. “Some of the attractions will include rooms inspired by great science fiction stories, restaurants, and lounges that stimulate the senses, retro gaming, and esports venues, etc.”
Individuals interested in staying at the hotel can sign up for a membership through the Atari Hotels website. The company also sells various Atari Hotel products including shirts, hoodies, etc.
