The South American gaming organization MIBR (Made in Brazil) recently unveiled a partnership with the financial services provider Itaú Unibanco. As a result, the two organizations will work together to create a digital content series highlighting some of MIBR’s best gamers.
This deal will involve both men and women that are currently members of MIBR. The teams expected to be involved in this initiative currently compete in hit games like Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO.
“Our partnership with MIBR goes far beyond pure marketing sponsorship. Being side by side with one of the icons of the segment in Brazil and in the world is a great honor and complements our platform, which now supports one of the most competitive and traditional scenarios in esports,” said Robson Harada, the Head of Growth and Marketing for Itaú Unibanco. “We’re together to talk about people – athletes and fans – the passion the surrounds the entire CS ecosystem and how esports is capable of changing lives. Our manifesto is a good example of this: we co-create to translate the heart and soul of the team and we have much more to come.”
MIBR is a Brazilian esports organization that was founded in 2003. The company was originally dissolved in 2012, but it was later revived by businessman Paulo Velloso in 2016.
