“Cyberpunk 2077” And “The Witcher 3” Are “On Track” To Be Released For Next-Gen Consoles

Quarterly financial results were recently released by CD Projekt. In this report, CD Projekt said that both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt “are on track to meet their target [release] dates.”

Both titles were originally scheduled to be released this year. However, both games were delayed until 2022. Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to come out during the first quarter of next year while The Witcher 3 will be released during Q2 2022.

“The decision to postpone the next-gen version of Cyberpunk was a difficult one, but we are confident that it was the right one, especially since it was clearly recommended by our development team,” said Adam Kiciński, the President of CD Projekt, in a recent interview with a Polish newspaper. “We need the extra time to fine-tune the visuals and performance of the game to be as high quality as possible throughout the game.”
