Unified And Riot Set To Host Midwest Esports Conference

Unified has recently partnered with Riot Games to host the Midwest Esports Conference. This collegiate League of Legends circuit is set to kick off this Spring with a new roster of teams from schools like Drury University, Grand View University, Illinois College, Ohio Northern University, Ottawa University, Purdue University Northwest, and the University of Arkansas.

“We’re beyond thrilled to return to presenting matches on the big stage where they belong,” said Rebecca Rong, Unified’s Director of Marketing, “These aspiring champions deserve the recognition and prestige, and it’s an honor to help forge their path to greatness through these live competitions.”

Unified is planning on hosting five Esports Festivals across midwestern North America. The first event will take place in Des Moines, Iowa on January 29th and 30th at Grand View University. The four other events on the docket will be held throughout February and March. The Midwest Esports Conference Grand Finals are scheduled for March 26th and 27th in Wichita, Kansas.

Each event is open to the public. At this time, spectator and general admission passes are available for purchase. Each festival features a $5,000 open prize pool.
