On January 28th, Esports Entertainment Group Inc. named Stuart Tilly as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. As COO, it will be Tilly’s job to oversee EEG’s “operational growth” as the company aims to carry out long-term goals.
“Given the remarkable growth in the size, breadth, and geographical reach of our operations and staff over the last 18 months, we had long identified this operations role as a critical one in enabling the company to achieve its long-term strategic goals,” said the CEO of Esports Entertainment Group, Grant Johnson. “With Stuart’s extensive iGaming knowledge, first-hand experience of launching and growing businesses together combined with his legal and regulatory background, we felt he was the ideal fit for this position.”
Prior to being appointed to this position, Tilly served as EEG’s Chief Legal Officer from August of 2020 to January of 2022. He came to EEG with over 15 years of gaming industry experience, where he worked for big-name companies like GameSparks Ltd, Argyll Entertainment AG, and FLIP Sports Limited.
