Esports Startup lvlup!HR Wins Silver Medal In Ideas Competition

Esports startup lvlup!HR recently won the silver medal at the Schleswig-Holstein Ideas Competition for their human resources plan, earning them a cash prize of $5,560. Around 25 start-ups participated in this year’s competition. Schleswig-Holstein is considered a pioneer in Germany when it comes to esports and gaming. They plan to create four regional esports centers in different locations throughout the country as they attempt to help the ecosystem grow.

The lvlup!HR concept has already been successfully tested in practice. Together, with eSports Nord eV, a successful field test was carried out in 2021 to enhance their HR department.

“The inclusion of esports in a company’s HR work takes into account the new job, in particular, the changed requirements for managers and employees,” said Suzanne Fehlhaber, Co-Founder of lvlup!HR. “It sets modern employers apart.”

The idea behind lvlup!HR is the use of esports in the course of various modern HR work steps:

  • Assessment Center
  • Teamwork, employee retention.
  • Recruitment
  • Staff development, training.
