Despite its major acquisition of Activision-Blizzard, Microsoft has been getting no love from the global gaming community. This comes after a recent Twitter study by Electronics Hub showed that the Xbox Series X was the most despised video game console in the world. In fact, 12.5% of all tweets about the device were negative.
Electronics Hub noted that many complaints about the device had to do with its lack of availability. Other issues included design problems as well as headset and control connection difficulties.
The bad news didn’t end there, though. The Xbox One was the second most complained-about console on the list (12.1%). The Xbox Series S received more positive reviews than its sister consoles, but it was still the third-most disliked gaming console in the world with 9.8% of all tweets coming back negative.
Coming in fourth place was the PlayStation 5 at 9.7% followed by the Nintendo Switch at 7.6%. The PlayStation 4 came in last place on the list with only 0.5% of negative tweets.

This is the one list Xbox shouldn’t want to dominate. The good news is that a lot of these complaints were related to the way the Xbox Series X looks. In general, Twitter is an awful place to conduct studies, so there’s not much merit to this.
