Bandai Namco Gives Out Pay Raises To Japanese Staff

Bandai Namco is making a concerted effort to treat its employees well. This comes after the company announced it would be boosting the monthly earnings for its employees by $435, bringing the base monthly salary cap from $2,000 to $2,500.

This comes as part of the company’s “Connect with Fans” initiative. This medium-term vision, which is expected to kick off next month, aims to introduce new mechanisms that connect Bandai Namco fans and creators all over the world.

“In order to realize this vision, it is indispensable to promote the active participation of diverse human resources in various fields, and this revision has been reached… through this revision, we will realize the new medium-term vision with the basic policy of improving the workability of employees, exceeding the expectations of fans all over the world with high-quality content and various entertainment that can be played for a long time and deeply,” reads a translation of the Bandai Namco press release that came out in late February.

The organization will also be launching Activity Based Working programs. This allows employees to choose the time and place they wish to work, giving staffers a better opportunity to provide input for entertainment entities alongside a variety of other topics.
