Call Of Duty: Mobile World Championship Returns This Year

Activision recently announced that the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship will be returning in 2022. According to the publisher, the tournament series is expected to feature the biggest prize pool in the history of the game.

“Our massive, worldwide community of players continues to drive the team’s passion to deliver an epic Call of Duty: Mobile experience now and in the future,” said Matt Lewis, the Vice President of Mobile at Activision. “With all-new rewards… everyone is invited to enjoy this year’s championships and we look forward to seeing who will be crowned victorious later this year.”

This year’s events will be open to players of all skill levels. The competition begins on March 31st, with Activision hosting a series of in-game qualifiers every weekend. From there, the best players in the world will climb the ranks, going head-to-head with the hopes of earning an invitation to the grand finals and taking home a piece of the series’ $1.7 million prize pool.

Activision revealed that the global finals will take place in December, but the location of the event has not been revealed at this time. All global finals matches and regional playoffs will be streamed on YouTube later this year.
