Coca-Cola recently launched a new gaming-inspired flavor of its world-famous soda called Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte. And, if that wasn’t enough, the company has already brought the soft drink to the metaverse prior to its in-store release next month.
Coca-Cola Creations joined forces with the gaming organization PWR to create a custom island in Fortnite‘s Creative Mode called Pixel Point. Those who reach Pixel Point can play mini-games based on the soda brand. Despite this activation, Coca-Cola emphasized that this island was built without an official sponsorship from Fortnite or Epic Games.
“Byte has entered the chat. Flavorful pixels sync with a great taste of Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar for a next-level experience,” reads an official statement from Coca-Cola. “Where will it transport you? Discover the taste of pixels.”
For now, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte is not yet available in stores. However, it will be coming to the U.S. on May 2nd.
