Post University Opens Doors On Esports Lab

Post University recently opened the doors of its new esports lab located in the school’s Drubner Athletic Center. This facility has been outfitted with 22 computers, gaming consoles, and a variety of other peripherals that gamers would recognize.

The space will be used for training sessions by members of the school’s esports team. This facility will be open to all esports athletes on the Post University varsity team as well as members of the Avis Gaming Association Club.

“That’s what makes us special here is the fact it’s the academics plus the athletics, all intermarried,” said Dr. Roger Caramanica, the chair of the Gaming and Esports Management program at Post. “And that’s really where I think the future of the industry is going. So, we’re excited to be bringing this to our students for play and the academic space we have.”

Post University is located in Waterbury, Connecticut. This private school was founded in 1890.
