On May 3rd, Esports Entertainment Group Inc. announced Jan Jones Blackhurst, the former mayor of Las Vegas in the 1990s, had been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Following her appointment, EEG’s board of directors is now made up of seven members.

Jan Jones Blackhurst served as the mayor of Las Vegas from 1991 to 1999. After that, she worked for Caesars Entertainment Corporation until 2019, where she was the Executive Vice President for Government Relations & Corporate Responsibility. Since 2019, she has served on Caesars’ board of directors.
