Wrexham AFC and EA Sports are teaming up to award gaming scholarships to two Wrexham Glyndwr University students. Dylan Robinson and Nigel Hammond were declared winners of the inaugural EA Sports Gaming Scholarship, which will fund both of their degrees.
“We’re delighted that this scholarship program can help us achieve one of the Club’s key goals, which is to make a positive difference to the wider community in Wrexham, and are grateful to EA Sports for their ongoing support as part of our official partnership,” said Humphrey Ker, Executive Director of Wrexham AFC. “This is a fantastic initiative and one which has provided a great opportunity for the two winners.”
Robinson and Hammond will have their degrees joint-funded, after deciding to share the scholarship funding.
EA Sports is the official partner of Wrexham AFC, who are a playable team in FIFA 22’s Kick-Off mode.
