Mobile Premier League (MPL) has launched the MPL Poker Academy in India with help and input from famous Indian professional poker players like Parth Jain, Dhaval Mudgal, Siddharth Karia, and Aniruddsha Joshi. Joshi will be tasked with creating short videos for player training.
“Worldwide, there are over 100 million people who play poker, and in India, there are over 3 million active players,” said Namratha Swamy, MPL Country Head for India. “Our aim is to reach out to everyone who plays poker and anyone who wants to get started on the journey, to help them learn and hone the techniques, and enhance their strategy and thinking.”
For the newly-launched academy, MPL will organize beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of content aimed at all types of poker players.
With the new poker academy, MPL believes they have created “a conducive environment where people can learn from experts and connect with other like-minded players,” while clearing up “any misconceptions that people have about the game,” added Swamy.
