Gaming platform Mobile Premier League (MPL) has partnered with SHIELD, a global risk intelligence company, in a deal that will see the latter offer Fairplay and safety to the former’s users. MPL said that this partnership will strengthen its existing anti-fraud capabilities thanks to SHIELD’s real-time risk intelligence.
“At MPL, providing the highest degree of protection against fraud and cheating is our topmost priority,” said Ruchir Patwa, VP of Security and Compliance at MPL. “We are focused on offering the users a safe and secure gameplay experience on the platform. In order to deliver this consistently, we are committed to using best-in-class technology, and our partnership with SHIELD has enabled us to continue to take this forward.”
According to the MPL, fraudulent gamers will be immediately blocked from the platform, allowing people who follow the rules to join tournaments and compete with more confidence. This collaboration will also likely help MPL’s user retention as the organization delivers a more trusted and fair platform for users.
