Fnatic And BMW To Bring Esports Performance Facility To Berlin

Fnatic and BMW have partnered up to bring a new esports facility to Berlin, Germany. The facility will be Fnatic’s home base and official training center and will feature an in-house gym, fully serviced kitchen with appliances, changing rooms, a relaxation and recreation area, two gaming performance rooms, a content studio, a match review room, a BMW sim-racing rig, and a dedicated office space.

“The BMW x Fnatic Esports Performance Facility has been specifically designed to support our League of Legends players as they strive for excellence in the upcoming LEC Summer Season,” said Jens Hofer, Director of Fnatic’s High-Performance Unit. “We’re so excited to finally be opening the unit alongside BMW and setting a new standard for esports facilities in Europe. This facility is another step forward for our HPU as we plan our return to the top of European League of Legends.”

The facility aims to bring eight focuses to the forefront. Those are:

  • Health
  • Research
  • Technology and Software
  • In-game performances
  • Processes and Operations
  • Youth Structure
  • Infrastructure
  • Education

The two parties believe this high-tech facility will set the new standard for future projects while providing Fnatic (and visiting teams) with a never-seen-before foundational balance of care and work.
