Gaming Audio Advertisement Platform Raises $9M

The in-game audio ad platform Odeeo recently announced that it had closed a $9 million seed funding round. Beyond this announcement, the company also revealed that it would be creating a strategic advisory board that will assist the organization as it continues to develop its next-gen audio platform.

This funding round was led by Play Ventures and Global, one of the world’s largest media and entertainment groups. Other participants included Eric Seufert (Heracles Capital), Anton Gauffin (founder of Huuuge Games), Christian Calderon (founder of GameJam), and Lior Shiff (founder of TripleDot Studios). To date, the company has received over $10 million in investments.

“There’s huge potential to improve how brands advertise in games so Elad and I are delighted to be partnering with Global and Dax. Together, we can help brands explore new opportunities and reach target audiences,” said Odeeo CEO Amit Monheit. “Mobile gaming is immensely popular and audio ads in this space are unique as they don’t interrupt the experience. By combining our expertise, we’ll be able to keep innovating and growing the in-game audio world.”

Odeeo is an Israeli start-up company that was founded in 2021 specializing in the creation of in-game audio advertisements. The business reportedly offers its advertising platform in more than 500 games.
