Here Are The Nominees For Streamer Of The Year

The Esports Awards 2022 are coming up later this year. And, we can now tell you who is being nominated for the Streamer of the Year award.

Four big-name influencers that have won the award before actually made their way onto the ballot this year. Meanwhile, eight other people received nominations for this award, some for the first time! The full list includes Gaules, Asmongold, David “The Grefg” Martinez, Dr Disrespect, Ibai, Kammeto, Nickmercs, QTCinderella, ValkyRae, Tarik, TimTheTatMan, and tyler1.

While all of these nominees are incredibly well-respected content creators, plenty of noteworthy people were left off the list this year.

Despite being the second-ranked Twitch streamer over the last 30 days, xQc was surprisingly absent from the list. He was the most-watched Twitch streamer in both 2020 and 2021. Even though xQc has been nominated as Streamer of the Year four times since 2018, he has never actually won the award.

Ludwig also failed to make the list, which is pretty shocking because he was named the Streamer of the Year at The Streamer Awards that were held this past March. Mizkif also failed to earn a nomination, which must come as a real kick in the pants since fellow OTK co-founder Asmongold is one of the top nominees for this year’s award.

Now that the nominees have been announced, voting for this year’s Esports Awards is open to the public. We’ll find out who ends up taking home the hardware on December 13th.
