Old School Gamers Rejoice! Sega Genesis Mini 2 Is Coming This Fall

More compact, more advanced: the Sega Genesis Mini 2 is launching October 27th, and has been totally revamped from its 2019 predecessor. With new and improved hardware, the console also now comes with the famous 6-button controller and 50 classic titles. The Genesis Mini 2 also comes with a never-released, still unannounced bonus game, which has us all shaking with anticipation.

The Genesis Mini Two will be priced at a reasonable $75, however with the console’s signature controller (not the 6-button one mentioned above), based on the old SHARP Cyber Stick, will double the sticker price to $150.

Sega has yet to reveal what all 50 games will be, opting instead to release included titles piecemeal. But some big ones will be available, including iconic titles like Sonic 3D Blast, Super Hang On, The Ooze, and many more worth getting excited for.
