OpTic Gaming Acquires Content Creation Engagement Tool

OpTic Gaming recently announced it had acquired the cross-platform engagement and monetization tool Botisimo in the company’s first deal since it retired its Envy Gaming brand. The financial details of this deal have not been disclosed at this time.

“Adding Botisimo to our business is going to help scale in a number of ways: in building and better connecting to communities – and becoming a resource to creators and other organizations that want to do the same,” said Adam Rymer, the CEO of OpTic Gaming, in an interview with Sports Business Journal. “There is also a lot of synergy in the tools they’ve built and what we want go deeper with as we build out the experience for our fans.”

Launched in 2020, Botisimo claims to engage with 36 million unique monthly users. The organization also boasts a portfolio of more than 30,000 streamers.
