Compete.gg Granted Access To Riot Games API

Compete.gg, the esports tournament platform operated by React Gaming Group Inc., was recently granted access to the Riot Games API (Application Programming Interface). As a result, Compete will be able to break into a new realm of competitive esports with hit titles like League of Legends.

An API is a way for computer programs to communicate with one another, allowing Compete to program its platform with Riot Games directly. This ensures that LoL players can trust their data and performance are completely reliable and accurate on the Compete platform. As a result, Compete will utilize this integration to offer more premium gaming experiences by providing player profiles and statistics.

“Since rebranding Compete.gg last April, Compete.gg has been gaining momentum as an emerging esports tournament platform,” said Ty Root, the CEO of Compete.gg. “Contrary to what we see from our peers, we are building a platform and community that are user-focused, meaning that gamers can expect their performance to be tracked accurately, with quick easy payouts and a responsive customer service that cares. Our strategy has allowed us to significantly increase the number of registered users on Compete.gg and followers on our main social media channels, namely TikTok, Discord, and YouTube, in a very short period of time. Riot Games’ API will be a great addition to our offering and will allow us to attract more gamers looking for flawless tournament experience.”

Compete.gg is a Canadian esports tournament platform that was founded in 2019. The organization offers tournaments with cash prizes, peer-to-peer gaming capabilities, statistical information, and social functioning for gamers all around the globe. Compete.gg has also previously partnered with Epic Games for Fortnite.
