Activision Preparing For Its Grand Return To Steam

Activision appears to be preparing for its grand return to Steam by putting out an official publisher homepage. Publisher homepages show up on Steam after you click on the name of said company, but up until July 18th, Activision’s publisher link simply took you to a default list of Steam games.

Now Activision’s publisher page features a banner image, an option to follow the company on Steam, and collections of games curated by Activision. While this may not seem like a significant change for many, it does hint towards Activision’s increased involvement and participation in the Steam marketplace moving forward.

This could be a sign we’ll be seeing some exciting new titles popping up like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and the Call of Duty franchise in the near future.

For now, the only title that has been confirmed is the still unreleased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 coming in October, which will be the first Call of Duty game to arrive on Steam since 2017.
