Details On The New Skate Game

Gamers were understandably excited when Electronic Arts announced a new iteration of Skate in last year, 11 years after the last edition, Skate 3 launched. Now, almost a year to the day Skate (it will not be Skate 4) was announced, we’ve finally gotten some details on what we can look forward to.

The new Skate will be free-to-play with microtransactions (which will focus on cosmetics and “convenience”), and will be live-service with continual updates. It will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with cross-play and cross-progression.

The game is still very early in development, so we can’t even guess as to when we will see Skate make its full launch. However, EA has set up a website dedicated to Skate, which provides us with news updates and even a newsletter that you can sign up for. So if you’re hankering for some updates, check out the website here for all your Skate needs.
