Esports organization Benfica has named Teleperformance its team sponsor for the next three years, in a deal which will see the omnichannel solutions company become the Official Esports Naming Sponsor of the Portuguese team. Following the announcement, Benfica’s esports team was officially renamed Benfica Teleperformance.
“Our bet on digital as well as our focus on the significant transformation that the football industry is going through are growing at a fast pace; namely new ways of interacting with different targets and audiences, where gaming is a very strong part of that strategy,” said Domingos Soares de Oliveira, CEO of Benfica. “We’re confident that this partnership with a company like Teleperformance will boost the club’s esports project.”
One of the major perks of this collaboration, is that Benfica will now have access to Teleperformance’s topflight Gaming Center, equipped with some of the most modern technologies. It is one of the world’s best gaming centers, and will provide the team with ideal conditions for training.
