The Indian company Esports Collective recently held a beta launch for its esports fan engagement platform, FanSpace, on August 15th. This comes a little over a month before the application’s public launch on September 18th.
FanSpace was created as a solution to the information flow problems that have plagued the grassroots and larger gaming communities for several years. This platform will provide fans with access to all the statistical data, match results, and reports that can be found in the Indian gaming market.
Prior to the launch of FanSpace, the Indian video game ecosystem lacked “a data-driven fan engagement platform,” as AnimationXpress put it. So, ESC decided to capitalize on this opportunity by bringing an India-focused fan engagement platform to the country.
“With FanSpace’s holistic approach, we are deploying various industry-first technology initiatives on our platform to merge competitive telemetry data along with community engagement and provide fans with a one-stop destination for all the information that they require,” said platform co-founder Rohit Reddy.
FanSpace is already outfitted with many different functions. This includes tournament coverage, varying levels of esports data, breaking news, and so much more.
