Guild Esports Lands UK Partnership

Guild Esports recently announced that it had agreed to a three-year partnership with Sky Broadband in a deal that will see the organization serve as a premier partner of Guild. This partnership is significant because it is the “largest” in Guild history. Also, SportsPro Media described this deal as “one of the most lucrative” in the history of European esports.

Sky Broadband and Guild will work together to further develop gaming communities around the globe. The two sides will do this by focusing on three key areas: supporting women in gaming, driving esports performance, and engaging with audiences.

Sky Broadband will now serve as the official Wi-Fi, broadband, and mobile network provider of Guild Esports’ headquarters for the next three years. Additionally, Guild Esports’ performance center will be renamed the Sky Guild Gaming Centre. Moving forward, the facility will be powered by Sky Full-Fibre Broadband.

Sky’s branding will be featured in an outdoor mural that will appear on the Sky Guild Gaming Centre. Moreover, Sky will be the headline partner on Guild team jerseys for the 2022-23 esports season.

“We are incredibly proud to welcome Sky to Guild Esports, and be the first major partnership for Sky in esports. Sky is a media, entertainment, and connectivity powerhouse that will help drive Guild to the highest levels of performance in competitive esports globally,” said Rory Moran, the Director of Global Partnerships at Guild. “This landmark partnership is built on a shared vision for success and a commitment to driving the esports sector forward, through initiatives powering women in gaming. Not only does this partnership represent Guild’s successes to date and plans for the future but it’s also a testament to the values that sit at our core.”
