G FUEL Just Sponsored A College Esports Team

On September 20th, G FUEL announced that it had agreed to a sponsorship deal with Farmingdale State College’s esports program. This deal will see G FUEL host campus events, offer career opportunities, and provide the team with co-branded apparel alongside G FUEL products.

“The endorsement and support received from G FUEL, is a testament to the hard work, performance, and success of the Esports team at FSC,” said Rodolfo Chacon, the Assistant Director for Campus Recreation at Farmingdale State College. “G FUEL is one of the largest Esports brands in the business, their partnership will propel our Esports Program to reach its fullest potential.”

The Farmingdale esports program was officially founded in 2018. Since then, the team has grown to 150 gamers playing in 20 different competitive esports titles including VALORANT, COD, Overwatch, and more.

Farmingdale State College is a Long Island-based school that was founded in 1912. As of August 31st, 2020, there were more than 10,000 students enrolled at the college.
