Mythical Games recently announced the organization was forced to lay off 10% of its staff. The firm cited a tough economy and the harsh crypto winter as the reasons for these job cuts.
“[We] have had to reevaluate and restructure some areas in our business accordingly,” a spokesperson told CoinDesk. “Unfortunately, as a result, we had to make the painful decision to let some of the members of our team go.”
This is not the only significant change to affect Mythical Games. Just a few days before these layoffs, the company announced that Chris Ko (Senior Vice President), Matt Nutt (COO), and Rudy Koch (Co-Founder) had left the organization.
Mythical Games has been incredibly busy over the last couple of months. In September, the organization released Blankos Block Party, a free-to-play multiplayer game for PC users.
