On November 20th, PUBG Esports announced it would be making changes to the game’s roadmap in 2023. This will include the return of the PUBG Global Series as well as the PUBG Nations Cup. Moreover, PUBG Esports plans on introducing a global partnership program for the 2023 season.
According to PUBG Esports, partner teams will be chosen for the program following a careful selection process. Those that are picked will receive various financial perks, similar to the program implemented for VALORANT esports. This will reportedly include the production of team-branded in-game items. The proceeds from these items will be redistributed amongst affiliated partner program teams.
And, if that wasn’t enough, partner teams will be guaranteed a spot in the PUBG Global Series. This competition will reportedly replace the PUBG Continental Series.
Lastly, to ensure the continued success and growth of PUBG esports, an area dedicated to PUBG will be opened in South Korea. This facility will reportedly open its doors during the first half of 2024.
Applications for the PUBG Esports Partnership Program went live on December 1st. If you are interested in learning more about the application process, click here.
