Ryan Crosby Named President Of Publishing At Riot Games

On September 22nd, Riot Games announced it had promoted Ryan Crosby to the position of President of Publishing. In this new role, Crosby will head up Riot Games’ worldwide publishing group which features more than 1000 employees in over 20 different offices around the globe.

“In his time at Riot, Ryan took ‘hitting the ground running’ to a whole new level and quickly proved that he has the vision and leadership to drive our Publishing division into the next chapter,” said CEO Nicolo Laurent, who Crosby will now have to report to. “Our ambitions across games, entertainment, and sports are massive and we need a leader who can see the endgame while keeping us grounded and player-focused in the ways that have made us successful for the past 15 years. Ryan checks all the boxes with his years of gaming expertise and his experience at the intersection of technology and entertainment.”

Ryan Crosby has been working for Riot Games since January of 2021. He was originally brought on as the organization’s Head of Global Entertainment Marketing and Consumer Products.

Ryan Crosby has spent many years in the media and entertainment industry. Before coming to Riot, he had experience working for companies like Activision, Microsoft, Netflix, and Hulu.
