On October 25th, IO Interactive announced that it had chosen Agillic to be the organization’s omnichannel marketing automation platform. This means that Agillic will power all personalized communications for the company’s gaming audience of over 70 million people.
Agillic’s flexible data intake and distribution model was one of the main reasons that IOI elected to go with the company. Additionally, IO Interactive was reportedly a fan of Agillic’s understanding of the gaming and esports industry.
“To us, it is extremely important to find the right eye-level communication with our players, both in-game as well as off-game. With Agillic we can use and activate our extremely complex data, based on activity levels, interests, etc in an effective way. And without having to cannibalize on our own developers.” said Marc Skouborg, the CMO at IO Interactive.
