GameSquare Esports Launches Merchandising And Consumer Products Arm

On September 8th, GameSquare Esports Inc. announced that it had launched Mission Supply Co, a business unit that will provide merchandising and consumer product design consultation services to major brands and esports organizations. Mission Supply will also develop and create innovative designs for GameSquare’s growing roster of esports talents.

This organization is being led by Derek Chestnut, who was recently named the Head of Consumer Products. Before joining Gamesquare, Chestnut served as the Vice President of Consumer Products at FaZe Clan.

“Mission Supply is an incredible addition to the GameSquare family of businesses connecting world-class brands with gaming and esports fans,” said Justin Kenna, the CEO of GameSquare. “Derek led the consumer products division at FaZe Clan where he created a multi-million-dollar business by creating some of the most innovative and exciting collaborations within gaming, esports, and youth culture. Adding a merchandise and consumer products offering to our platform represents another incredible step forward for the Company.”

Mission Supply already has a well-established customer list that includes recognizable esports companies, and lifestyle brands. According to a press release, GameSquare expected Mission Supply to directly contribute to the company’s revenue levels this year.
