Allan Phang, the chief marketing officer of Galaxy Racer, recently announced he would be leaving the organization. Phang will also give up his Marketing Consultant position with Riva Technology and Entertainment Limited, Galaxy Racer’s parent company.
This is a somewhat controversial decision since Phang joined the company a little over a year ago. During his tenure, Allan Phang spent one year and two months as the CMO of Galaxy Racer.
During Phang’s time with the organization, Galaxy Racer was able to break two Guinness world records. Galaxy Racer broke the record for the longest video live-stream at 268 hours 14 mins 20 seconds. The company also set a new record for most viewers watching a charity donation live stream on YouTube with 698,000 peak concurrent viewers.
Before joining Galaxy Racer, Allan Phang was the Regional Head of Marketing & PR for EVOS Esports. Prior to that, he was the Head of Esports at AirAsia.
